FOOTBALL!!!...but first OYSTERS!!!!

So it's Saturday, I'm off work (a rarity in itself) and it's the start of  EURO 2012 but instead of vegging out on the sofa, watching TV programmes/football, eating food that will make me fatter and drinking beer all day which I plan to do later on, I decided to go to some nice italian delis and to smash some oysters in soho first!!!
Camisa has been packed with little tiny old italian women since 1961 and still is today.

Liquor, Caviar & Cow+Chicken

After my recent day trip to southern spain and making a batch of "RAZZLE DAZZLE" I'd accumalated quiet a surplus of booze in the flat and what better way to get rid of some of it than to invite a few faces round for pre- batter drinks before we all headed to the very fucking cool Tramshed restaurant in shoreditch for dinner (the newest addition to mark hixs growing restaurant empire).
Also along with the copious amounts of booze i also had nestled in the back of the fridge a pot of caviar that id been given by Sergi from http://mottra-caviar.co.uk/ as a thank you for doing a TV demo for latvian TV for him.... that was a strange day to say the least!
Large scenes!

Strawberry and basil RAZZLE DAZZLE

So after my recent trip to spain i returned with  ALOT of duty free booze, so decided to make one of my famous flavoured vodkas for the jubilee weekend and what better to use than oakchurch farm english strawberries which this year are probably the best I've ever tasted..
So heres how to do it, give it a crack.
1ltr of good vodka, about 30 or so strawberries ( pull off the green bits) and a bunch of basil.
Oak church farm strawberries from herefordshire. british produce at its best!
sling the strawbs in a bowl with 100ml of sugar, tear in the basil (leaves only)
& mush it all together with your hands then cover it all with the vodka.
Pour it all in a air tight jar/container and leave it for a couple of days giving it a shake twice a day
(probably the hardest part of the whole process is having the will power to not drink it)
after a couple of days pour the mixture through a fine sieve it will be a little cloudy but
to get it lovely and clear you can pour it through a clean tea towel and let it slowly filter
SIMPLES!!!.
